Occasionally, students might be enrolled in a class at one level but are being taught at a different level. When there is a change or update in a student's current level, it is crucial for the staff to update the current level in the student's profile.
There are three types of levels:
-
New Student Assessment Level: This level is determined by the initial assessment of a new student.
-
Enrolment Level: This is the level selected when the student is enrolled.
-
Current Level: This level represents the current standing of the student. Please note that this is the level at which the student will be assessed during a level assessment.
1. STUDENTS PROFILE / LEVEL SECTION
Staff will find the level information for each student in the Student Profile, under the Level section. Here, they will be able to modify the Current Level as needed.
In this example,
-
the New Student Assessment Level is empty, indicating that the student did not attend any new student assessment prior to enrollment and was directly enrolled in a private lesson.
-
The Enrolment level, in this case, is PRIVATE, meaning the student is attending private lessons.
-
Current level. It was determined that the appropriate level for this student is School Age Level 1, so the staff updated the Current Level to reflect this.
