In this Guide, we will cover:
Session/term creation (we need to create only one session/term per Holiday program)
Class template creation (we need to create one Class template per level taught)
Class Creation (we need to create as many classes as required)
1. Let's Create a SESSION/TERM
Go to Location
2. Click on SESSIONS/TERMS
3. Click on + SESSION
4. Session Creation details
This session/term will include all the weeks from the Holiday program.
Note:
The start date of the session will be the first day of the week 1
The End date of the session will be the last day of the last week of the Holiday Program.
Location: we can select a single location, multiple locations, all locations.
The Session created for this guide is: Intensive Holidays August 2024 with a total of 3 weeks.
5. Click on SAVE
6. Now, It's time to create a CLASS TEMPLATE
We need to create one Class template per level taught.
A class template serves as a prototype for creating multiple instances of classes with similar characteristics.
In a class template, we establish attributes for a class that will be used repeatedly, such as Name, duration, session/term, and price.
7. Click on + TEMPLATE
8. Class Template Details
Please note:
Template NAME: Use the class LEVEL for the name.
The name you select for the class template is the name that will be displayed in the MEMBERS portal. This name is the one the RP will see on the class's results.
Duration: Select class duration
Price: Set price per lesson
Colour: When the level is selected, the colour will be automatically filled in. It will display the colour we assigned during the creation of the level.
Session: We must choose the session/term during which this class will run.
In the example, we selected the "Intensive Holiday August 2024"
Level: Select the level for this specific class.
In the example, we selected SAL1.
Description: This description is for staff view only.
9. Click on SAVE
10. Now, It's time to create a CLASS
For this final step, go go CLASSES
11. Click on + CLASS
12. Add a Class page
The Add a Class page has two sections:
1. Template
2. Class information
Template:
We will select the specific template for the required class/level.
The rest of the Fields will auto-populate.
Class information:
This is where we set the specific information for individual classes, such as:
Instructor
Day/time
Start date
Recurrence
Pool Area
NOTE:
Program type: As we're setting up a class for the Intensive Holiday program, we must ensure we select "Intensive Learn to Swim" program type in the drop-down.
Price: We can override the price defined in the class template.
13. Click on SAVE
